The government has spurned suggestions that the 2nd Ghana Policy Fair scheduled to run from April 26 to 30 is but only a clever propaganda gimmick, insisting the project will propel the country’s development in tremendous ways. Speaking to journalists at the Ghana International Conference Centre where preparations are at their zenith for the 2nd Ghana Policy Fair, a Deputy Information Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said the fair was designed to give Ghanaians a rare access to information that will help them plan and contribute to the attainment of a better Ghana. He said far from propaganda, the fair was designed to focus on development issues beyond the ruling National Democratic Congress government
The butchered body of an unidentified man suspected to be a thief was found this morning at Amamoma in Cape Coast.
Residents told Joy News the man could be a thief in the area.
Joy News’ Richard Kojo Nyarko reported that the area has been noted for regular armed robbery attacks and it was not surprising the gory sight of the severed body parts of the suspected thief were found there.
The man, believed to be in his late 30s, had his arms and legs all severed and later covered with leaves.
He is yet to be identified.
Police in the Central Region have picked up the pieces of the butchered body for autopsy.
