Luanda — Luanda fans of the Antilles music waited for about seven hours to watch Kassav band show on Sunday dawn, in the capital’s cidadela stadium, under the “Saudade” Festival, Angop learned.
Despite the rain that hit the city, the fans waited until 03:42 am to listen to such hits as Gadé Aw, that opened the first part of the show.
The band that comprises the singers Jocelyne Beroard, Jacob Desvarieux, Jean-Philippe Marthely, Jean-Claude Naimro, George Decimus and others, closed the show at 05:30 am.
The same stage received the performance of local singers Proletário, Mamborrô, Jacinto Tchipa, Irmão Almeida, Sebem,Tropical Band and Guinea Bissau’s Tabanka Jazz band, and Africa Negra from Sao Tome and Principe.
