“He deserves the backing of all well-meaning activists so that
the Party chalks a landslide victory in the 2012 general election”. The Presidential candidate, the group said: “was visionary, patriotic
and also had good organizational abilities needed to make Ghana a
successful nation”.
A statement jointly signed by Nana Agyemang and Tanko Ali ahaya, the Chairman and Secretary, respectively, and issued in Kumasi, escribed the NPP as the only alternative party which was capable of lleviating the plight of Ghanaians because of the mismanagement of the economy by the ruling National Democratic Congress( NDC).
The NPP, it said, believes in the rule of law and for that matter would do everything possible to ensure an incident- free election in the interest of the nation.
