at a ceremony to outdoor Naa Dr Ernest Sangsor-Tulong I, as the Chief
of Gengekpe Community in the Nandom Traditional Area of the Lawra

traditional rulers had in matters relating to governance and
development that some of them had been appointed to the municipal and
district assemblies.

He urged the district assemblies to establish effective
communication linkages with the traditional councils to enable the
traditional rulers to make relevant inputs into the policies and
programmes of the assemblies.

and would therefore provide the needed basic infrastructure and also
motivate teachers to give off their best.

issues of development.

of a selfless leader who would serve them with zeal and commitment and
manage the affairs of the area with absolute credibility to bring
about development.

He assured the new chief of government’s support and urged him
to use his skin to foster peace and unity among his people, saying it
was only when there was peace that development could thrive.

Dr Benjamin Kumbuor, Minister of the Interior, described Naa Dr
Sangsor-Tulong as an intellectual who served mother Ghana in various
capacities adding that he had no doubt that with his rich experience
and wide contacts he would bring development to his people.

Dr Kumbuor, who is also a son of the area, acknowledged the role
of Naa Dr Sangsor-Tulong in the establishment of the Savannah
Accelerated Development Authority (SADA).
