ENGAGE SUPER LEAGUE
Venue: Stobart Stadium Date: Monday 25 April Kick-off: 1500 BST
Coverage: Updates on BBC Radio 5 Live & the BBC Sport website, highlights on the Super League Show.
St Helens name full-back Paul Wellens in their 19-man squad despite the joint skipper suffering a heel injury in the 28-24 Good Friday defeat at Wigan.
But utility back Gary Wheeler is out with a shoulder injury, with Jon Wilkin set to switch to half-back and Andrew Dixon filling the back-row vacancy.
Castleford recall hooker Adam Milner in place of Daryl Clark.
Back rowers Steve Snitch and Oliver Holmes are also set to return following the shock home defeat by Wakefield.
Nick Youngquest and Willie Isa remain on the Castleford injury list.
Cas will be looking to end their 19-year wait for an away win over St Helens, their last having come in the third round of the Regal Trophy in December 1992.
Their last league win was in the old Stones Bitter Championship in October 1990, meaning that the Tigers are still to record an away win over St Helens in the summer era.
In 16 Super League visits to Knowsley Road, they have managed a solitary draw.
But, having missed the chance to return to the top when they lost on Friday, Cas will hope for more luck at the Stobart Stadium.
Saints three-quarter Tom Armstrong is hoping to make his first appearance of the season.
Castleford coach Terry Matterson:
“It’s not going to be easy going to St Helens because our record there is terrible but I’m pleased we’re playing in three days’ time now.
“We’re lucky it’s on Monday because it would have been a long seven days.”
