CPP members must use Easter to renew vows to the party Nduom

The 2008 presidential candidate of the Convention Peoples Party is calling on party members to use the Easter season to rededicate themselves to the ideals of the CPP’s founding fathers.

According to Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, Easter provides an opportunity for all to emulate the good works and sacrifices of Jesus Christ.

Speaking in an interview with Joy News, Dr Nduom said the party needed a total renewal to regain its strength.

The need for renewal in the CPP, Dr Nduom said is not in doubt.

It is therefore important for adherents of the party to be independent minded as much as possible and to work assiduously towards positioning the CPP as a viable alternative to the NDC and NPP.

Dr Ndum also called on CPP sympathisers to commit themselves to the party’s principles.

“People should let themselves be known, be heard in everyway to be solidly and independently for the CPP and not be attached in anyway to any political party,” he counselled.

Dr Nduom said anybody who publicly professes to be an Nkrumaist cannot at the same time belong to any political party either then the CPP.
