Wasps v Bath (Sat)

AVIVA PREMIERSHIP
Venue: Twickenham Stadium Date: Saturday 23 April Kick-off: 1730 BST
Coverage: Listen live on the BBC Sport website.

Wasps field another young side with schoolboys Billy Vunipola, making his first Premiership start at number eight, and Elliot Daly at full-back.

Tom Varndell returns on the wing and Ben Jacobs comes back into the centres.

Bath also hand a debut to winger Jacques Boussuge on their trip to Twickenham as Matt Banahan makes his first start at inside centre.

Prop David Flatman is back in the front row and Lewis Moody and Simon Taylor come back into Bath’s back row.

Bath scrum-half Michael Claassens told BBC Somerset:

“Our target is to win all three of our next games to make sure we’re in the top six and it’s going to be tough. It’s so close on the log and anyone can still make it but we just have to keep playing the way we’re playing and then we’ll definitely make it.

“Wasps are obviously a very physical side and we’re going to have to be up for the game, make sure we beat them on a physical level and their number nine, Joe Simpson, is a big player for them – we’ll have to keep an eye on him.

“It’s always a great occasion and Twickenham’s a great field to play on. As rugby players you look forward to playing on the big stage and we’re looking forward to that.”
