Tottenham defender Ledley King is aiming to return to action in next week’s clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Spurs captain has had a torrid time with injury in recent years and has been out of action since October, with a groin injury limiting the 30-year-old to just seven appearances for the north London club this season.
Yet the England international is set to boost his side’s hopes of Champions League qualification by returning for the final games of the season, with Spurs just two points behind fourth placed
Manchester City who they still have to play at Eastlands.
Speaking to The Sun, King said: “It’s going OK and, hopefully, I’ll be back next week.”
