Luanda — Angolan minister of Youth and Sports, Gonçalves Muandumba, Tuesday in Luanda said that the Angolan athlete José Armando Sayovo is a proof that with dedication and peace everything is possible.

The minister said so at “4 de Fevereiro” International Airport at a ceremony intended to welcome the Angolan Paralympics caravan from the 4th World Competition of athletics for visually impaired persons held in Turkey, where he won two gold, one silver and two bronze medals.

“This is an evidence that with commitment and dedication, we can go further and with peace everything is possible”, said Gonçalves Muandumba, who on behalf of the Angolan president, José Eduardo dos Santos, congratulated the athletes.

The minister also seized the opportunity to express cooperation with the athlete.

Sayovo will also participate in another competition of the kind in London 2012.

He also appealed to the members of the Angolan Paralympics Committee and the sponsors to continue supporting the sport for disabled people.
