Mixed reactions yesterday greeted the postponement, for the third time within six days of National Assembly polls in 15 Senatorial Districts and 48 Federal Constituencies.
The reactions ranged from outright condemnation to plaudits as well as calls on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC Chairman, Prof Attahiru Jega, to come out clear on the state of preparedness of the commission for the polls.
Among those who spoke on the issue were Prince Tony Momoh (chairman of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC); Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi; Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa (whose Ikorodu Constituency, Lagos will not witness House of Reps polls tomorrow); and former Works Minister, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe.
