Abuja — President of Nigeria Football Association (NFA) Aminu Maigari may have queried the duo of General Secretary Musa Amadu and Emmanuel Ikpeme, Deputy General Secretary (Technical ) over the costly error that denied members of the victorious Beach Soccer team from President Goodluck Jonathan largess to achieving Nigerian athletes since 2009.

The team which won the African championship in 2009 in South Africa was glaringly omitted in the list of athletes rewarded by the Jonathan due to the negligent error of the NFA management.

A levied Maigari was said to have demanded an explanation for the omission and blamed the whole episode on what our source said is general lack of focus with the NFA management.

Already top management staff were busy Tuesday trading blames over the error which players and officials of the beach soccer team showed total disregard for their effort in the scheme of things.

While Amadu lay the error on squarely on Ikpeme whose schedule it is, the Physical education expert claim in his response that he merely had a look at the list forwarded to it by the National Sport Commission.

Meanwhile Daily Independent reliably gathered that the Association has already written the sports commission on how the Beach Soccer team could be accommodated.

Coach of the team Audu Ejo was a sad man when he came to the NFA on Monday where he lamented the negligent action that denied the players their dues.
