The Ghana Football Association has confirmed there will not last-minute replacement for unfit AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Boateng has been ruled out of the Black Stars double-decker against Congo in the 2012 Nations Cup qualifiers and an exhibition match against England next Tuesday due to injury.
Ghana FA vice-president Fred Pappoe who is with the team in Nairobi says head coach Goran Stevanovic will depend on the squad in camp for both assignments.
“We won’t name a replacement for him. The squad we brought here is enough. We are expecting Opoku Agyemang to arrive and we will have the full complement of the team and leave for Congo on Saturday,” Pappoe.
There has been controversy over Boateng’s absence from the team with rumours circulating that he is turning his back on the Black Stars.
