Osaze Odemwingie is a doubt for Sunday’s match with Ethiopia |
Nigeria strike pair Osaze Odemwingie and Obafemi Martins are major doubts for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with Ethiopia this weekend.
Nigeria coach Samson Siasia told the BBC that the pair are unlikely to be fit for the match.
Siasia also revealed that he had no idea that England youth international Victor Moses needed Fifa clearance to swap national allegiance.
Fifa said on Wednesday that they had not received such a request.
Goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has already been ruled out of the game.
Nigeria are second in Group B of Nations Cup qualifying, three points behind Guinea.
They have one win and one defeat from their campaign so far.
The match against Ethiopia in Abuja on Sunday will be Siasia’s first competitive game in charge.
