England manager Fabio Capello could reportedly drop Frank Lampard for the Euro 2012 qualifier against Wales.
The two sides clash in Cardiff on Saturday with the hosts having lost all of their qualifying games to date, while the Three Lions are yet to be beaten.
Either Lampard or Steven Gerrard have been present in the starting line-up for England for every competitive fixture since the 2002 World Cup, but The Sun reports that the Chelsea midfielder could be benched for the match, with either Scott Parker or Gareth Barry set to partner Jack Wilshere.
Lampard has had a difficult season so far, with a protracted groin injury having kept him on the sidelines for a significant portion of the campaign.
