The Reds are still without winter signings Iafeta Paleaaesina and Vinnie Anderson, while former skipper Rob Parker remains sidelined with illness.

The Reds were beaten 30-8 in Perpignan in the Challenge Cup last season after having to endure a nightmare 27-hour journey following the traffic chaos caused by the Icelandic volcanic dust cloud.
Salford had also lost 24-12 to the Catalan side in March, a month earlier. But they made amends when they returned to Perpignan in May and won 22-14.

“We went really well last week. The trick is to do it again the week after.
“We’re in the great position this week of being able to start the same team in France.
“Most of the time this season we haven’t even been able to start the same front row, never mind side but the same 13 that started last week will start again.”
