ablacktv: I see I’m going to have to shut you down point by point.

“How bout all the hours of community service. Anger Management classes those attempts at reformation or commendable…”

You can’t be serious? Throwing a chair out of a window at GMA proves he has not learned anything or done the actual work because if he did that he would not be exploding with such reckless disregard for himself and others because an interview did not go his way. And the reason the interview did not go his way was all because of how he dealt with it. So you lose on that point. Chris is not the victim here.

“He’s yet to speak on what actually went down in that Lamborgini unlike Rihanna who used it to promo the album Rated R. Chris made a mistake, a mistake that young black men are making everyday around the country….assaulting females…”

Are you nuts? Chris Brown plead guilty to a felonious assault against a female. That is all we need to know. Rihanna did nothing to deserve that level of violence from him. He has no right to beat anybody in the way he did period! And beating a woman is not “a mistake” as you describe it. And I love how you think this is normal because other black males are abusive and violent towards women. Chris was wrong for what he did the end.

“On this post their or many supporters of Chris. As we all should support a conflicted black man TRYING to progress. Yet I find so many bashing and demeaning him, instead of praying, trying to uplift, or offering any type of guidance…nothing but pure hate, that not even the worst man deserves….but this is what they distract us with..”

Ok it’s official you have lost your mind. Sorry but Chris Brown’s drama is not a national issue. Chris Brown has had over two years to get his act together which brings me back to my main point that he did not make the proper use of his time nor take any real responsibility for his actions on an emotional level. If Chris had properly dealt with this he would not still be throwing chairs at windows because he was asked a routine question. Chris just had his restraining order relaxed by Rihanna and that hence makes it a news worthy question to ask him how that is going. And Chris will be asked about this for a while because it’s newsworthy. And all Chris had to say was” I’ve learned from this situation and I’m never going to hit a woman again.” Period. It’s that easy.

On a final note can you stop making Chris Brown some “victim”. Chris is in entertainment and part of that deal is acting responsibly (not being violent) not beating women and throwing chairs because things are not going your way. Chris has made drama outside of his music more newsworthy than his actual music and he has to deal with that like a responsible adult. Stop making excuses and deal with the mess you make.
