Christina Hendricks And Jon Cryer Team Up

Christina Hendricks is teaming up with Jon Cryer for a forthcoming musical production of ‘Company’ by the New York Philharmonic.

Christina Hendricks, the American actress best known for her role on ‘Mad Men’ will star alongside the ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor Jon Cryer, in the new musical set to run from 7th April 2011 to 9th April 2011, reports OnTheRedCarpet.com.

Cryer recently finished work on ‘Two and a Half Men’, one of America’s biggest shows, after his co-star Charlie Sheen was fired. 45-year-old Sheen has become the subject of a media frenzy in light of his recent bizarre behaviour and bosses at Cbs decided to shut down production of the show.

Sheen is now reportedly suing the company as well as Warner Bros for around $100 million. After being relieved of his duties on the sitcom, Sheen slammed Cryer for not reaching out to him on the telephone and called him a “troll”.

Fans of the sitcom have been speculating as to whether Cryer would make a foray into movies, but his first post-Two and Half Men role will be alongside Hendricks and Neil Patrick Harris in ‘Company’.

Christina Hendricks will play the naive flight attendant named ‘April’ in her first major theatre role, while Cryer will portray the “pot-puffing chum” of Patrick Harris’ character Robert.
