Udinese warn Chelsea, Manchester City & United: Alexis Sanchez will cost you big money

Inter are attempting to negotiate a deal for Alexis Sanchez – who has courted interest from Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United – but Udinese have warned they should be prepared to pay a handsome sum to secure the Chilean star.

The club’s sporting director Fabrizio Larini was reluctant to name a price just 24 hours after Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti said he “dreamed” of Sanchez, but did suggest that the player was worth “a lot of money”.

Reports in England earlier on Tuesday added Manchester City’s name to a list of English clubs linked with a move for the 22-year-old, but the Serie A side made it clear his stock will continue to rise, especially if they qualify for the Champions League next term.

Larini said: “Speaking about figures is not always nice and it is the market which brings the value, but we do know he is worth a lot of money.

“At the moment though we cannot value him as he is a player who is always evolving positively.”
