Konnie Huq is to be replaced as host of The Xtra Factor after just one series, it’s been confirmed.
The former Blue Peter presenter took over from Holly Willoughby on The X Factor’s sister show just last year, but Konnie’s already leaving to work on a programme for the Discovery channel in America and Asia.
‘We thank Konnie for her contribution to the Xtra Factor,’ says a spokeswoman for production company TalkbackThames.
