St Helens hooker Scott Moore has been charged with a dangerous tackle on Leeds skipper Kevin Sinfield in Saturday’s 30-16 win at Headingley.

The 23-year-old is alleged to have used a technique which put ‘undue pressure’ on Sinfield’s ankle and knee joints.

Moore is the only player asked to appear before Tuesday’s Rugby Football League’s Disciplinary Committee.

A week ago, seven players were up on charges, four of them from the same game – Wigan v Hull FC.

Moore’s offence occurred in the 74th minute on Saturday as Saints pulled off their third win of the season.
