It might have seemed a good idea at the time, but Danielle Lineker could well have been left asking what she’d signed herself up for when she took part in her latest assignment.

The model, and wife of footballer Gary Lineker, was fronting a campaign to promote the latest partnership between Easyjet and Sainsbury’s Nectar.

High-flying: Model and former hostess Danielle puts her experience to good use in a photo shoot to publicise the new partnership between Sainsbury’s Nectar and Easyjet

Dressed as a flight attendant which proudly displayed Easyjet’s
tasteful signature colour of orange , Danielle might well have been
wondering if the terra tan and copper-coloured streaks in her hair were
such a good idea after all.

But still, at least it complemented the Sainsbury’s logo.

A glowing Danielle was joined by a horde of fake ‘holiday-makers’ who donned swimwear and clutched inflatables to
promote the fact that, from the end of March, Nectar card holders will
be able to use their points to pay for flights with Easyjet.

She might have a successful footballer husband and a house fit for a WAG, but Danielle is no kept woman, she insists.

The 31-year-old mother-of-one has spoken about her pride at earning
her own money, through a variety of modelling and acting roles.

She recently joined the cast of Calendar Girls and in 2009 she came third in the chef reality television show Hell’s Kitchen.

And Danielle’s spokesperson revealed earlier this year she has ‘two films lined up’ for when she finishes her run in Calender Girls.

Danielle revealed recently that despite having achieved fame and fortune, she still feels like she has to work.

She said: ‘Gary said to me this morning, “You could have such an easy life. You
don’t have to put yourself through this”.

    ‘But I’m a
working-class girl, and once it’s drummed into you that if you want
things, you work for them, it sticks with you.’
