Ondjiva — A total of four football stadiums will be rehabilitated this year in the cities of Kwanhama, Namacunde, Ombadja and Cahama, southern Cunene province, in order to encourage the practising of the sport, ANGOP has learnt.

The local official in charge of sports infrastructures, José Kambuandy, made the announcement without revealing the costs for the future construction.

In his opinion, the province has human resources favourable for national competitions, but local youths are limited in their activities due to lack of spaces.

Multi-purposes fields will be built in the districts of Ombadja and Namacunde.
