THE Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, says it had taken steps to improve its service delivery with the introduction of what it called ‘Systems Applications and Products technology, SAP.’

NDDC Managing Director, Mr Chibuzor Ugwoha, said that the development will ease the operations of the Commission.  The MD, who spoke while inaugurating two committees to facilitate the operations of the scheme, said all sectors of the Commission would benefit from the programme.

Mr Ugwoha is to chair the SAP steering committee with the Executive Director, Projects, Mr. Esoetok Etteh, and the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, Mr. P. Aginighan as members, while the Change Management Committee is to be headed by the Acting Head, Security, Mr. Peter Idabor.

“Various attempts had been made in the past to improve the way we do business at NDDC and better align our services to the expectations of Niger Deltans, but they were all stalled at one stage or the other,” he said.
