The chiefs and people of Ateiku in the Western Region at the weekend honoured Ms Christina Adcock, a Philanthropist from Dallas, USA, for providing funds for the construction of an Ultra Modern hospital at Ateiku.
Ms Adcock was installed development Queen (nkosuohemaa) under the
stool name, Nana Korankyewa I.
Nana Korankyewa thanked the people for the honour done her and urged
them to patronize the hospital.
Nana Kwamena Damoah III, Mamponsehene of Ateiku, expressed gratitude
to Nana Korankyewa for her contribution and pledged the community’s
commitment towards the regular maintenance of the facility.
Ms Adcock and her son contributed GHC1,200,000.00 for the
construction of the hospital, which will serve not only Ateiku but its
surrounding communities like Brofoyedur, Accra Town, Akyempim,
Senkyem, Adaase and Subiri .
