Peaches Geldof denies being involved in new sex scandal after ‘five in bed pictures emerge’

Adamant: Peaches Geldof denied claims of a new sex scandal on Twitter this morning

Peaches Geldof has denied claims that she has been involved in a five-in-a-bed orgy as a fresh sex scandal engulfs her.

The OMG! With Peaches Geldof star has taken to her Twitter page to deny reports that she had taken part in the sex party and been photographed with two naked women in Los Angeles.

It was reported this morning that the 22-year-old had become involved in ‘wild partying’ and ‘shameless behaviour’ since moving to LA.

But Peaches is adamant that the story isn’t true, tweeting fans this morning that she actually leads a ‘very normal’ life.

She tweeted: ‘Sick of tabloids grasping at straws to portray me as some sort of “wild
party girl sex fiend” when I live a very normal existence. Go away.

‘I’d love it if I could live my (boring, very normal) life, spending time
with friends and my boyfriend and being happy, instead of s*** on.’

She later added: ‘That article was bottom of the barrel, grasping at straws material and utter bulls**t. Truth next time, please – if possible.’

The Sun newspaper had claimed this morning it had come across a photograph of Peaches in between two naked girls as she was taking part in an ‘orgy’.

The picture was found along with a series of raunchy photos of Peaches, including one of the socialite sprawled naked across the bonnet of a car.

A source told the newspaper: ‘Peaches was involved with a lot of hipsters, only attending the coolest parties – or those deemed the coolest.

‘These people thought it hilarious to whip their clothes off in public and take photos.

‘Most are spoilt little rich kids who don’t have to worry about money and spend their time getting wrecked. Their lifestyle’s ridiculous. Peaches was swept along.’

Insistent: Peaches took to her Twitter page to deny the claims

It has been a difficult week for Peaches, who was earlier this week
accused of shoplifting when it was claimed she had taken a dress from a
shop in Camden, north London.

However, the police later dropped the case when they found there was ‘insufficient evidence’ to continue.

A spokeswoman for Geldof said: ‘We have been contacted by the police
today who informed us there was insufficient evidence, they had no
intention of speaking to Peaches, and the case had been closed.’

The daughter of Boomtown Rats star Bob Geldof and the late Paula
Yates has been linked to – and cleared of – a string of shoplifting
allegations in the past.

Geldof was accused in 2008 of
leaving the Victim store near Carnaby Street with a £500 dress but later
returned it to the shop, saying there had been a misunderstanding.

She was also wrongly accused of stealing an item of clothing from east London shop Luna & Curious.

The latest controversy surrounding the blonde TV presenter comes amid rumours that her ITV chat show OMG! With Peaches Geldof may not be recommissioned for a second series.
