Netherlands coach Bert van Marwijk has announced his 23-man squad for the upcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers against Hungary on March 25 in Budapest and on March 29 in Amsterdam, and Arjen Robben is the most notable inclusion.

The Dutch coach will have to make do without the services of injured shot stopper Maarten Stekelenburg and has opted to give NAC goalkeeper Jelle Ten Rouwelaar a call-up for the first time in his career in place of the Ajax man. Utrecht’s Michel Vorm is expected to start against the Hungarians.

Van Marwijk also included Manchester City’s Nigel de Jong for the first time since dropping him from the Oranje after a harsh tackle on Newcastle United’s Hatem Ben Arfa back in 2010. The holding midfielder was called up for the friendly against Austria in February but was forced to withdraw from the team due to injury.

Another player who makes his comeback in the Holland squad is Bayern Munich winger Robben. The tricky attacker hasn’t represented his country since the lost 2010 World Cup final against Spain due to a hamstring problem.

Jeremain Lens (PSV), Demy de Zeeuw (Ajax), Peter Wisgerhof, Luuk de Jong (Twente) and Ruud van Nistelrooy all failed to make the cut after initially being included in the provisional squad.
