Leicester City manager Sven Goran Eriksson is set to sign Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara on loan until the end of the season, according to reports
Having made only 11 appearances for Mark Hughes’ side this season, the Foxes’ manager is ready to offer Kamara first-team football with the Championship side.
Eriksson is in talks with the club’s owners, according to the Daily Mail, about Kamara’s £24,000 per-week wages as the Swede attempts to take Leicester into the Premier League.
Eriksson initially wouldn’t be drawn on who he hoped to sign, but he confirmed to BBC Radio Leicester on Tuesday that they were in talks with a “big” player: “We have to take some important decisions regarding that.”
Leicester sit ninth in the table, currently five points away from a place in the play-offs, following a 3-0 away victory at Scunthorpe on Saturday.
