Eagles coach, Samson Siasia has a burning ambition to beat visiting Ethiopian national team when they clash on March 27 in the Nations Cup qualifiers in Abuja.
The former international is eager to justify his huge rating by Nigerian fans and therefore wining with a handsome margin against Ethiopian will massage the ego of the coach. And this is the reason he has been watching the video clips of the Nations Cup qualifying games Ethiopia played against Madagascar and Guinea.
The match would be Siasia’s first competitive game since he took over November last year. According to Siasia who released his team list for the match yesterday in Abuja, building a new team and wining well are his twin targets.
“I have always said that we need to get best players we have together and make a good team. This is what we are doing at the moment and we need the support of everyone to make things work well for us.
“It is clear that we need a win over Ethiopia and this is what we are aiming at,” said the coach.
