Madd FC thrashed Mtandao as the Left Foot Sports League entered its third week at the Highridge grounds on Sunday. The winners were quick off the blocks and took the lead in the fourth minute when Shirisha Naggar pounced on a lose ball to score. Eric Obasi doubled the advantage in the 15th minute when he headed home a cross from Naggar.
Ken Juma added the third in the 23rd minute after a goalmouth scramble while Mohammed Abdul completed the scoring in the 39th minute. Madd relaxed in the second half taking their feet off the gas pedal but always looked dangerous on the counter.
Sky Train came from two goals down to beat Strathmore 4-2 in an entertaining match. Strathmore settled early and took the lead when Adriano Siboe bundled the ball home after a goal mouth scramble. Mark Karua doubled the advantage four minutes later as their students looked on course for victory. Justin Ochieng then began Sky Train’s comeback, scoring twice before the interval as the two teams tied 2-2. On resumption, Ochieng completed his hat trick and Charles Kimani completed the scoring in the dying minutes of the match. Vision 2020 edged Ligi Ndogo reserves 1-0 with Ken Maritim scoring the lone goal in the 3rd minute.
