Saddick Adams re-joining Etoile Sportive du Sahel

    By Patrick Akoto

Ghanaian striker Saddick Adams has confirmed his desire to earn a call-up into the national Olympic team.

Adams, 21, on loan at Libyan club side Al Hilal Benghazi has not played for any of the junior teams since starring at the 2007 Fifa Under-17 World Cup in South Korea.

He failed to re-ignite his career since re-joining Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel a season ago from Serbian outfit Vojvodina.

Adams wants to re-unite with former AshantiGold boss David Duncan at the national Under-23 side.

“I’m really looking forward for a chance to play for the Black Meteors and so I’m hoping the coach calls me and I will be ready for the national call,” Adams told Citi Sports.

“Coach Duncan spotted me and gave me the chance since my time at AshantiGold and so I’m only hoping I get another opportunity to prove myself once again.”

Adams was dropped from Ghana’s Under-20 team for the 2009 Fifa World Cup in Egypt and later caused a major stir by accusing then head coach Sellas Tetteh of taking bribe.
