Barcelona defender Dani Alves has praised his team-mates for their “outstanding” performance in defeating Arsenal 3-1 on Tuesday evening in the Champions League.
The Blaugrana had to overcome a 2-1 deficit from the first leg in London, and have now qualified for the quarter-finals of the tournament.
“There is only one Barcelona, and in a two-legged match, we make it very difficult for our rivals,” the Brazilian told Marca after the match.
“It was also a very nice atmosphere. People have been able to read the game well and this was important for us.”
Alves was a thorn in Arsenal’s side during the match, getting off several shots, but failing to score.
