As Nigeria Premier League (NPL) defending Champions, Enyimba International of Aba travel to Minna this weekend to face Niger Tornadoes, it might not be as rosy as the encounter against Lobi at Aba on Wednesday but the rejuvenated People’s Elephant are looking forward to sharing spoils with their host.
Speaking with NationSport, Philip Auta, who scored one of the goals during the midweek encounter, opined that despite the unpredictable nature of football, there is hope of not coming back empty-handed.
“We are going to play our best because we have not forgotten our target. Although you can’t predict football at times, we are hoping to pick a point against Tornadoes. In football, you don’t relent till the end of the ninety minutes because anything can happen and we have known that; so we will go there, put up our best and also hope that we get a good result at the end of the day,” he said.
