All 86 members of a youth group known as Changli flying Tigers of the NDC in the Tamale Central Constituency who defected to the NPP in 2010, have returned to their mother party.

The group members in 2010 chronicled several reasons which informed their defection to the NPP among which was youth unemployment and lack of development in Changli and its environs.

The Changli flying Tigers Spokesperson praised President John Atta Mills for maintaining peace in the entire northern region and Bawku but condemned Nana Akufo Addo for allegedly playing tribal politics. Abdul Rahaman Yussif said the group will intensify its campaign strategies to win more votes for the NDC 2012.

He commended the Member of Parliament for the Tamale Central Constituency, Hon Inusah Fuseini, and the Northern Regional Acting Chairman of the NDC, Chief Sofo Azorka for being in constant touch with the party youth.
