Arsenal defender Gael Clichy‘s future with the club hangs in the balance as fears grow that the French left-back will not sign a new contract, according to the Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old’s current deal expires at the end of next season and if no deal can be put in place the Gunners will look to cash in on the player they signed from Cannes, rather than lose him for nothing.
Talks will continue with Clichy but Arsenal have made plans should the French international decide to quit.
Arsene Wenger has earmarked Celtic’s Emilio Izaguirre among potential replacements.
