Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been awarded with February’s Manager of the Month for his unbeaten run of games during the period, whilst West Ham United‘s Scott Parker has picked up the Player of the Month award for his efforts in getting the Hammers off of the foot of the table.
Parker has been in sensational form to help keep Avram Grant’s side in with a chance of surviving the drop, excelling during the Hammers’ 3-1 win against Blackpool, as well as in the fantastic come-back to earn a point against West Brom where the London club found themselves 3-0 down at half-time.
For Wenger, meanwhile, it is the 11th time he has been handed the award during his time in England’s top flight, meanwhile, and his team find themselves very much in the title race just four points behind league leaders Manchester United with a game in hand.
Also a goalscorer against Liverpool in the month’s final game, Parker said of his award to West Ham’s official website: “It is certainly a great honour.
“Things are obviously going well personally and I’m absolutely delighted to win this award and am very pleased with the way things are going. Personally, it’s very good.
“To get this award is very pleasing, so hopefully we can now pick up some results and stay up to round it off.”
