Thiago Silva: Milan Will Have It Tough Against Juventus

Thiago Silva is asking Milan to retain their Scudetto momentum, knowing it will take a massive effort to put down Juventus’ challenge.

Silva is showing detailed concern, fearing a backlash from Juventus, who come into Saturday’s big game having lost their previous two matches.

And with Inter lurking in the shadows, the Brazilian defender insists his side cannot afford to fracture title hopes.

“Juventus are a great team, I don’t know why they are living in the moment of difficulty,” Silva told Sky Sport Italia.

“They have a great team and for us it will be a difficult game. We have to be careful.”

Alexandre Pato is on a crusade having bagged another goal against Napoli on Monday.

“Pato has changed recently. He is a great player who wasn’t doing too well, but now he is,” added Silva.

“I hope he continues as he could win the league on his own.”

The clash at the Olimpico kicks off at 20:45 CET on Saturday.
