Stephen Kelly says he has not made contact with the Giallorossi, with the Serbian international only focusing on winning the Bundesliga.
“Certain news is only rubbish,” Kelly was reported as saying to Tuttomercatoweb. “Personally, I have had no contact with Roma, and can guarantee there has been no contact between the two clubs.
“As for the possibility of leaving at the end of the season? His side is focused on winning the Bundesliga. The player is only aiming to do well, fighting for the title.
“It would be wrong on his club’s behalf to be speaking about the transfer market, and it is for this reason that we have no interest in speaking to no one,” he affirmed.
The 22-year-old has been rumoured to be replacing Philippe Mexes at the Lupi, who is reportedly being linked with a move to Milan.
Subotic joined Die Schwarzgelben in the summer of 2008, and has a contact in place until June 2014.
