Manchester United are believed to be monitoring the progress of Athletic Bilbao forward Fernando Llorente.
The towering 26-year-old has put in strong performances for the Spanish club, and has earned links with some of Europe’s elite clubs including Liverpool and Real Madrid.
And now the Daily Mail reports that the Red Devils are interested in the World Cup winner, despite the player having a £34 million release clause in his contract.
Goal.com UK exclusively revealed in January that Athletic Bilbao turned down a £33m bid from Tottenham for Llorente.
