Andre Ayew is in form for Olympique Marseille
Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew claims he has not set himself a goal target for the season after tying as the club’s joint top scorer.
He increased his tally to six after the double against AS Nancy last Sunday to join Argentine Lucho Gonzalez and Loic Remy.
“I do not have a precise objective, which could have been set like the strikers do. Especially as I play in a number of positions. I try to be decisive in my passing as much as with my goals but what remains important is that we win,” the 21-year-old told the club’s website.
Ayew is expected to be in full flight against Manchester United at Old Trafford next week but must first help Marseille beat Lille on Sunday in the French League.
