Germany Coach Joachim Loew: Miroslav Klose Would Be A Good Signing For Borussia Dortmund

Recent reports from Germany suggested that Bundesliga table toppers Borussia Dortmund are considering making a move for Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose, and national team coach Joachim Loew has now voiced his opinion that the veteran attacker would fit in well at BVB.

“I don’t want to step on someone’s toes, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Borussia Dortmund made a move for Miroslav Klose,” said Loew to Bild.

“Miro is still a striker of the highest level. I often see him in action training with the national side and he’s an example to follow for the rest of the team. He’s always doing his utmost and is very ambitious.

Loew also added that he is aware that the veteran striker is much-coveted across Europe, with his contract set to expire in the summer.

He added: “He’s not the type of player who will move abroad to make some money in the final years of his career. He still has a lot of ambition. I know that he has received a lot of offers as he’s a free agent at the end of the season.

“I’m pretty sure that Dortmund are not his only option. I think that Bayern Munich could very well decide to hold on to him as well.”
