Arsenal are interested in signing Barcelona‘s Victor Vazquez, according to a report in AS.
The Gunners are looking to add some more depth to their front line in the summer transfer window and manager Arsene Wenger supposedly sees the versatile Vazquez as a good addition to his squad.
The playmaker is a product of Barcelona’s La Masia academy, but is finding first team action hard to come by at the Nou Camp. Vazquez scored his first goal for Barca in the 2-0 Champions League win over Rubin Kazan earlier this season, but has mainly been warming the bench.
Vazquez has an expiring contract at Barcelona and the Catalans have yet to offer him a new deal, and therefore, he could well decide to leave the club on a Bosman move, and Arsenal seems like a realistic destination.
