An Accra Fast Track High Court presided over by Justice Charles Quist on Thursday, March 3, slapped a fifteen year jail sentence on CEO of EXOPA Modeling Agency, Ibrahim Sima, for drug trafficking.

The EXOPA Boss was busted at the Kotoka International Airport carrying tubers of Yam in which was embedded substances suspected to be cocaine.

    He was enroute to Germany.

The Ghanaian fashion icon was accused of allegedly concealing five kilograms of drugs suspected to be cocaine in some tubers of yam while travelling to Frankfurt, Germany, on September 7, last year.

While going through departure formalities, officials of NACOB opened his luggage and found the tubers of yam sliced, stuffed with cocaine and sealed.

The prosecution said Sima claimed ownership of the drug, saying he was asked to give it to someone in Germany for a fee of 3,200 dollars.
