Hearts of Oak coach Nebojsa Vucicevic made a winning start to his league campaign after leading the club to a 2-1 win and moved from the relegation zone.

Medeama Sporting Club kept the pressure on leaders by recording a 2-1 win over Berekum Arsenals at the T&A Park.
