Daniel Sturridge Hints At A Permanent Move To Bolton Wanderers

Daniel Sturridge has dropped a hint that he may be willing to make a permanent move from Chelsea to Bolton Wanderers, having had a dream start to his loan spell under Owen Coyle.

The 21-year-old arrived on a temporary move until the end of the season, and has managed to score four goals in as many appearances for the Trotters to date.

Now the youngster has suggested that he could consider remaining at Bolton after the end of the season, as the competition for places at the west London club has even seen Didier Drogba being benched.

“I’m delighted to be playing every game and playing 90 minutes, that’s the main thing,” said Sturridge, according to The Metro.

“The goals are coming and I’m delighted with that, so if I can continue doing what I’m doing then it’ll be a great future for myself.

The former Manchester City player was also full of praise for Coyle, under whose management the hitman has been able to shine brightly.

Sturridge said: “I’m trying to work hard and the manager has instilled a lot of confidence since I have been here and let me play football the way I like to play it

“I get to express myself on the pitch and go out there with no fear.”

Chelsea boss Carlo ANcelotti has so far maintained that there are no plans to let go of Sturridge, while Coyle has already declared his interest in keeping the youngster beyond the period of his loan spell.
