Hold on, Hollywood: Charlie Sheen is just getting started. In text messages to PEOPLE, the actor shows no sign of backing off his rants that led CBS to pull the plug on the rest of the Two and a Half Men production with concerns over his “statements, conduct and condition.”
A defiant Sheen writes: “They have awoken a sleeping giant.”
Texting from his Bahamas vacation, Sheen, 45, took particular issue with the reaction to his broadsides against the hit sitcom’s creator, Chuck Lorre, whom Sheen referred to by his given last name, Levine.
The Anti-Defamation League says in a statement to Entertainment Weekly that Sheen’s words were “at best bizarre, and at worst, borderline anti-Semitism.”
