Ghanaian champions Aduana Stars beat Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca 1-0 at the Agyeman Badu I Park on Sunday but failed to progress to the next stage.

Winger Bernard Don Bortey converted a penalty in the 37th minute after a ball hit the hand of WAC defender.

Wydad Athletic Casablanca went through 3-1 on aggregate after a 3-0 first leg win in Casablanca.

The North Africans will now meet Kano Pillars of Nigeria which eliminated Liberia side Mighty Barolle on the away goal rule after a 2-2 draw.
