Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that the club’s ambitions have been reworked such that a minimum fourth place finish in the Premier League and a triumph in the Champions League are the current aims.
The Blues are currently 12 points adrift of league leaders Manchester United and two points behind fourth placed Tottenham Hotspur. And in the European competition, the west London outfit currently have a two-goal advantage over Copenhagen with the second leg at Stamford Bridge yet to be played.
“I am thinking about the Champions League and fourth place at the minimum in the Premier League,” Ancelotti said in an interview with La Repubblica.
“I have drummed it into the team: think about the final at Wembley. I am working a lot.”
