It’s the biggest day of a woman’s life, with brides prepared to go all out to ensure things run smoothly on their wedding day.
But proceedings don’t quite go to plan for Coronation Street’s Leanne Barlow as she arrives for her wedding blessing to Peter Barlow.
However, unaware of what lies in store for her during the day, Leanne (played by Jane Danson) looks every inch the blushing bride as she arrives at the church for the blessing.
Shooting scenes for the soap today, Danson was seen wearing a pretty ivory corseted top dress complete with cathedral-length veil and pretty diamante tiara.
She also carries a trailing bridal bouquet of ivory and deep red roses as she carefully gets out of her wedding car, also decorated with ivory accessories.
But Leanne remains unaware of the fact that Peter has found out about her affair with her ex-husband Nick Tilsley.
