The Championship club had offered Arsenal a 24-hour ‘call back’ option, allowing them to recall Ramsey at any time.
But Arsene Wenger has rejected the offer after mulling it over this week, as he wants Ramsey back in the fold as Arsenal fight on four trophy fronts.
The midfielder will play the sixth and final game of his loan spell at Hull City tomorrow, and will return to Arsenal ahead of Wednesday’s FA Cup replay against Leyton Orient.
Ramsey has impressed during his month-long spell in south Wales as he gradually builds up his fitness folowing a career-threatening leg injury.
However, there are doubts as to whether he is yet at the level where he can play a significant role at Arsenal over the final months of the season.
