CAF Appoints Nyantakyi’s Rival As Commissioner For Ghana’s Qualifier

    The Confederation of Africa Football, CAF has appointed Benin’s Mousharaf Adjorin as match commissioner for Ghana’s Nations Cup qualifier against Congo next month.

    Mousharaf was losing candidate to Ghana’s FA chairman Kwesi Nyantakyi in the recent CAF Executive Committee elections in Sudan. The Issa Hayatou backed Mousharaf polled 19 votes with the Ghanaian FA boss polling 34.

    The Beninois will trek to Congo Brazzavile on March 27, to superintend Ghana’s crucial qualifier against Congo. Nyantakyi has also been appointed as Match Commissioner for the Nigeria, Ethiopia clash on March 27. Ace Sports Journalist Yaw Ampofo reports from Sudan the Ghana FA boss might be forced to decline his appointment because he must be in Congo to support the Black Stars and watch keenly the decisions of Adjorin.
